Hydrogen energy is the key field for the future development of new energy in China. In recent years, the country has begun to deploy the development and utilization of hydrogen energy, and major domestic automobile enterprises have carried out the research and development of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
In 2017, NanoGrid Technology began to develop domestic hydrogen sensors under the entrustment of a well-known domestic automobile enterprise. After more than two years of efforts, the company has invented a new process that integrates printing electronic technology and MEMS processing, and developed a new domestic hydrogen sensor with independent intellectual property rights by using non vacuum printing preparation and 1000 ℃ high-temperature sintering process. According to the most authoritative standard "SAE J3089 Character of On Board Vehicular Hydrogen Sensors" for hydrogen sensors at the current vehicle regulation level, the hydrogen sensors produced in batch by the company passed all the rigorous vehicle regulation standard tests and vehicle EMC tests of an automobile group in the first half of 2020.
In March 2015, NanoGrid and the Printing and Electronic Technology Research Center of Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences went to Changshu for a spring tour, visiting Yushan Mountain, the ancient city wall and Shanghu Lake Scenic Area. The spring was bright and beautiful, and we shared the breath of spring.

On November 19, the 10th Annual Innovation Award Ceremony of the British Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) was held in London, England. This innovation award received more than 400 innovative technologies from 22 countries around the world and participated in 16 categories of awards. The "hybrid printing metal grid technology applied to touch screens" jointly declared by Cui Zheng, the research team of the Printing Electronics Center of Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the domestic leading touch screen enterprise OFIG Group, won the nomination award in the manufacturing category. Cui Zheng, director of the Printing and Electronics Center, attended the award ceremony.
